Hey there. I’m Sean McLoughlin and I am a stand-up comedian and not the Irish communist leader of the same name who died in 1960. I’ve been called an ‘impassioned and uniquely brilliant talent’ by The List and ‘The best comedian you haven’t heard of yet’ by Time Out so do stick with me.

I recently supported Ricky Gervais on his international ‘Humanity’ tour, and was chosen to support Bill Burr at the Royal Albert Hall and I’ve also provided tour support for the likes of Doug Stanhope and Katherine Ryan I’ve also appeared at comedy festivals in Montreal, Kilkenny, Dublin, Rotterdam and for many years at the Edinburgh Fringe where I’ve performed five solo shows.

I have performed on Russell Howard’s Stand-Up Central and Comedy Central At The Comedy Store, and was one of the ‘stars’ of Brexit Stage Left, a 5-part series on Viceland. If you live in North America you can also watch me on Kevin Hart’s LOL Network with a set I recorded at Just For Laughs festival.

As well as performing solo shows every year at the Edinburgh Fringe (reviews HERE) I also host a podcast called Heal Your Wounds with Sean McLoughlin. Go to the ‘podcast’ part of the site to listen. It’s usually pretty good. Also in 1916 I played a pivotal role in the Irish Easter Rising and was a prominent member of socialist parties in both Ireland and England until my death in 1960.

Anyway there’s more stuff but I can’t remember it all now. Why not sign up to my mailing list or follow me on social media. That’s what people do, right?
